Leadership Skills

In the classic business world, experts are the highest-paid group at the top of various professions. In our industry, an expert is for you because they receive compensation for joint efficiency. How much will it cost you to hire an expert? Commitment and allowing yourself to be guided by the hand. Your success is our success.

Remember! A leader is someone who is independent and supports Club Members in their initial steps of activity. The following list of skills represents the characteristics possessed by your Upline.

BASIC SKILLS

In the “First Steps” Panel, you’ve learned several ways of inviting. Remember that when you have people from different countries, the way of inviting may vary slightly. The one presented is a general outline. What’s the international language that always works the same? Enthusiasm. It’s more important than any preparation. People need enthusiasm regardless of the environment. Focus on the person you’re helping and always remember to ask yourself “WHY” the person you’re contacting should join our community.

Disarming objections involves asking the right questions before the presentation, you can find out if someone is ready to cooperate.

Before meeting:

1. We will talk about an interesting business. Tell me, how do you manage your time?
2. If we were to engage in a project together, how much time do you have weekly to commit?
3. Have you thought about any business ventures? Do you have an idea for a business?
4. If I had an interesting idea that could generate good income, do you have money saved for investments?
5. If there was indeed an idea you liked, would you have to consult your mom, wife, uncle, or do you make decisions on your own?

During meeting:

1. What do you do? How long have you been doing it? What made you decide to pursue it?
2. What do you miss the most in your work life?
3. If you had money and time, what would you do?

After meeting:

1. What three things did you like the most? What did you like the most?
2. How do you see the possibility of working together with me?
3. Would anything hinder you from collaborating with me?
4. What do you want to think about?
5. Would there be anything else that would hinder you from working with me?
6. If I provided you with a ready-made work system that could help you achieve your goal, would you collaborate with me?

Objection overcoming is dissipating doubts of the person we invite to cooperate.

Remember a very important principle in our industry. When you speak publicly, you should speak in the most interesting way possible. However, if you’re conducting a small meeting with 1-3 people, you should focus on those individuals. You should genuinely be interested in them to help them notice the opportunity to achieve their dreams, not yours! To increasingly tailor your way of speaking to be easily understandable, I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the topic: RECOGNITION OF PERSONALITY TYPES, NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION, POSTURE, AND IMAGE.

Non-verbal communication is a form of communication that encompasses all elements of communication that are not expressed in words. This includes gestures, facial expressions, body posture, tone of voice, touch, and other signals that can convey information and feelings. Even though it doesn’t use words, non-verbal communication can be very important in communication because it often complements or even outweighs verbal communication, helping to understand the intentions and emotions of the speaker.

Some join for the product, others for the company’s mission. There will also be those who join because of you. That’s why it’s important to take care of your external image both in real life and on the Internet. Ensure that your photos online build trust. Fun fact: Wearing business attire daily takes us out of our comfort zone.

Needs research (working with acquaintances) involves asking the right questions and actively listening, focusing on what they say and understanding the content they convey to know what they need.

Here are a few techniques that can help in active listening:

Pay attention: Try to focus your attention on the person speaking. Turn off your phone, laptop, and other sources of distraction, and sit in a way that allows eye contact.
Remain objective: Try not to judge or criticize the speaker’s words. Instead, focus on understanding their perspective.
Use keywords: Keywords are words or phrases that will help you better understand the speaker’s thoughts. Repeat these words or phrases in your mind to help you focus.
Ask questions: Ask for more details if something is unclear to you. This will help you understand the speaker and show that you are really listening.
Confirm understanding: After listening to the speaker, repeat what was said in your own words to make sure you understood what was conveyed.
Avoid interrupting: Do not interrupt the speaker while they are speaking. Wait until they finish speaking to avoid confusion and difficulty in understanding.
Be empathetic: Try to understand the speaker’s emotions and react to them appropriately by expressing your empathy.

Sample questions to find out what the speaker needs. Questions should be asked naturally from time to time during the conversation.

How’s your health?
How’s the health of your family?
How’s work going?
Are you satisfied?
Do you feel like you’re developing in your job?

Once you have some information from acquaintances, the next step is to interest them in the Club by providing brief information about us to arouse their curiosity.

For example, you can say that you’re not developing in your job (paraphrase). As it happens, I’ve just joined the Total Health Club, which focuses on personal development. If I sent you a link to the website, would you take a look when you have a moment?”

CLOSING

Closing is a simple question aimed at revealing the further intentions of the person with whom we have conducted the conversation. With a soft close, you can verify which people are now ready to cooperate and which are not.

REGISTERING

It is us who register people.
Registration is the first step with a new person. Tell the new person about it (offer assistance even if they say they’ll do it themselves).

When we register a person while meeting them offline (in person), we send them a registration link.

You can find the link after logging in to duolife.eu
MENU Club Member Area Tools Partner Links Registration Link

We register the person from their smartphone, as later they will be able to easily enter a password, make a transfer, etc.

When registering someone remotely, we ask for screen sharing (e.g., messenger or zoom) and help them enter all the details.

If someone insists on doing it themselves, we send them a link with the Virtual Presenter – how to register on PC and offer assistance if needed.

After registering a new Club Member, meet with them and ask them:

What are your expectations from the Club? What do you want to take care of (health, development, finances)?

Guide them through the FIRST STEPS OF A CLUB MEMBER, paying particular attention to giving the Club Member what they need at the moment and inform them that if they are ready to take further steps, you are there to help them.

In our business, those who understand that action begins when we reach out to people with a collaboration proposal are the ones who win. We have the choice between acquaintances or so-called “cold contacts,” i.e., strangers. Where to find people? You can find them through Social Media. For example, on LinkedIn, there are 900 million people. As your contact list grows, so does your inner peace and self-confidence. These feelings stem from the awareness that there are thousands of people who would gladly collaborate with you. However, this will require commitment and patience from you.

See how to grow your list of 250 business contacts per month on LinkedIn here.

The initial events will be led by your Leaders. Just let us know. Contact us.
