STRESS MANAGMENT
Discover several effective methods for coping with stress.

Expressing gratitude evokes positive feelings, which lower the level of cortisol, the stress hormone. What should you be grateful for? If you have a roof over your head, you can already be thankful that you are in a better situation than 150 million people worldwide. Express gratitude even for small things, such as being able to see, hear, speak, and having arms and legs.

Hugging increases feelings of security, calms, helps to relax, and reduces anxiety because it triggers the release of oxytocin in the body, which lowers cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stressful situations.

A supportive environment is crucial for minimizing daily stress. Feeling safe and belonging is key to mental and spiritual health. The Total Health Club is a place where you’ll find people with positive vibes.

Contact with nature is healthy because it allows us to relax and recharge, reduces stress and tension levels, supports mental health by improving mood and well-being, and encourages physical activity, which benefits our physical health.

When you focus on your breath, you are present in the here and now. Remember, it’s our thoughts that cause stress. Thinking about the past usually involves memories of unpleasant situations, and thinking about the future often involves worries. Focus on your breath to momentarily bring yourself into the present moment. You’ll find that it helps!

Adopting a winner’s mindset is a powerful technique that, when practiced for just two minutes, can reduce stress levels by up to 70%! The exercise is very simple: adopt the posture of a winner. It’s about the mind following the body. In tough moments in life, we tend to close ourselves off – hunched shoulders, shallow breathing. Change this posture to an open one, and you’ll see how positively your mind responds to it.

Healthy eating reduces stress by detoxifying the body from toxins and providing essential nutrients that support hormonal and nervous balance, thereby enhancing resilience to stress. Additionally, nutritious meals can improve mood and energy levels, aiding in stress management. Raw vegetables and fruits are the best fuel for the body. We also recommend natural supplementation such as herbal-vegetable-fruit juices, which complement dietary gaps to ensure all necessary nutrients are provided in the right form and quantity.

Physical activity reduces stress because it triggers the release of endorphins and serotonin, lowers cortisol levels, induces muscle relaxation, and shifts attention away from daily worries, thereby providing relief and improving mood. Additionally, physical activity oxygenates the body, which is highly beneficial for health.

Setting goals reduces stress because it gives us a sense of direction and control over our lives. Having a clear goal to achieve can decrease feelings of uncertainty and anxiety about the uncertain future. Additionally, when we achieve our goals, we experience satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment, which helps to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.

Taking full responsibility for your life reduces stress because it gives us a sense of control over our decisions and actions. When we feel that we have influence over what happens in our lives, we become more confident and courageous in facing challenges. Additionally, taking responsibility also means accepting that we are responsible for our reactions to stressful situations, which can lead to a more constructive approach to problems and better coping skills. Say out loud to yourself, “I am responsible!”

Forgiving oneself and others helps reduce stress because it allows for emotional healing, improves interpersonal relationships, enhances self-acceptance, and helps combat negative thoughts and lingering guilt.

Improving finances reduces stress because it provides a sense of security, helps achieve dreams and life goals, and reduces the pressure associated with financial problems, thereby increasing a sense of control over life.

Engaging in hobbies and activities we enjoy lowers stress because they absorb our attention and allow us to detach from daily problems and worries, leading to relaxation and improved well-being. Additionally, doing activities we love often triggers endorphins – chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers and improve mood. As a result, pursuing our passions and favorite activities can provide psychological relief, relaxation, and emotional balance.
