HEALTHY SPINE

First, let’s remind ourselves of the most common causes of back pain.

Mechanical damage to the spine can result from various factors such as sports injuries, car accidents, or workplace overexertion. These can lead to injuries of the vertebrae, intervertebral discs, or muscles, often manifesting as back pain.

Improper body posture while walking can lead to excessive strain on certain parts of the spine, resulting over time in pain and strain. Incorrect alignment of the pelvis, back, and head disrupts the natural curvature of the spine, which can lead to muscle tension and discopathy.

Toxins present in the body can contribute to increased inflammation by activating inflammatory processes, which hinders the healing of damaged spinal tissues. Additionally, certain toxins can disrupt cell metabolism, thereby inhibiting their ability to regenerate.

Inadequate hydration can negatively impact the spine in several ways. Firstly, intervertebral discs, which act as shock absorbers, require sufficient water to maintain their elasticity and resilience. Insufficient hydration can lead to their degeneration and reduced ability to absorb shocks, increasing the risk of back pain. Additionally, inadequate hydration can lead to dehydration of the soft tissues around the spine, causing muscle tension and worsening overall spinal health.

Lack of regular physical activity leads to significant weakening of the para-spinal muscles and a serious decline in overall fitness. Neglected back muscles are unable to effectively support the spine, increasing the risk of back pain and posture issues.

Stress, that ubiquitous part of daily life, has the power to turn our lives upside down. Did you know it can also affect the muscles of your spine? It’s true! The constant tension associated with our everyday stress can cause your back to revolt, especially the lower part. Lacking coping skills for stress only exacerbates this issue, intensifying the pain. That’s why it’s worthwhile to make an effort to master stress management techniques to relieve tense muscles and alleviate this troublesome sensation.

Back pain can be caused by issues with the intestines because the nerves from the intestines and the back are connected, so problems in the gut can lead to pain in the back. Intestinal conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or Crohn’s disease can cause back pain, especially in the lower back. Inflammation or infections in the intestines can also radiate to the back. Muscle tension from stress related to digestive problems can also contribute to back pain.

Collagen from marine fish skins – a source of one of the basic proteins of the connective tissue in the skin, which is also a component of bones, tendons and cartilages. It helps supplement the diet with easily digestible collagen protein. The formula contains collagen hydrolysate with low-molecular-weight. It is a source of amino acids, including exogenous amino acids, and their di, tri-peptides, which are well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

ProStik® is a proprietary formula from the fruit of mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana). Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) is a tree that grows in tropical countries; its fruit, the size of a tangerine, has valuable properties that have been known since ancient times. Mangosteen fruit contains a lot of dietary fibre, including chitin; vitamins B, E, provitamin A, C; minerals: potassium, sodium, magnesium, iron, manganese, zinc, copper; polyphenols, including catechins; coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) and xanthones (mainly α- and γ-mangostin).

Shilajit mumio extract – usually takes the form of small black , resin-like crystals. It has a very complex and diverse composition, depending on its place of origin. It generally contains: 20% minerals (more than 40 macro- and micronutrients), 15% proteins, 10% lipids and steroids, as well as carbohydrates, humic organic acids (including humic acid – which gives it black colour – and fulvic acid), polyphenols, alkaloids, amino acids and vitamins.

Willow bark extract – its valuable properties have been known since ancient times. Its main active ingredient is a phenolic glycoside – salicin, which is converted into the well-absorbed saligenin by enzymatic hydrolysis in the intestines. In addition to salicylic acid, willow bark contains other glycosides, cinnamic acid derivatives, ellagic acid, flavonoids and catechin tannins.

Devil’s claw root extract – Harpagophytum procumbens, commonly known as devil’s claw, is a South African perennial desert plant with valuable properties. The storage roots are particularly valuable parts of the plant, which contain mainly iridoid glycosides (1-3%; harpagoside, harpagide and procumbid), but also other glycosides, flavonoids, phytosterols, minerals and carbohydrates.

Centella asiatica extract – Centella asiatica (also known as tiger grass and Gotu kola) contains triterpene saponins, mainly madecassoside and asiaticoside; triterpene acids: mainly asiatic and madecassic acid, as well as flavonoids, phenolic acids, phytosterols, sugars, amino acids, vitamins and essential oil.

Angelica root extract – Angelica root contains: essential oil, terpenes (cymene, camphene, limonene), coumarin compounds and furanocoumarin compounds (xanthoxine, xanthotoxol, angelicin), as well as organic acids, phytosterols, flavonoids, fats, triterpenes and sugars.
